★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's always nice to eat in ootoya, especially if you're confused about where to eat in hectic Ginza then it's your safe choice. The place is still crowded though & staff is friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Japanese chain restaurant with delicious foods of all types, including a few family-cooking style dishes. English menu and very friedly, english-speaking staff! Very reasonable prices and a large selection of dishes, combo meals, etc. Serve coffee and green tea, desserts, and sweet drinks. Very popular place, so visit before and after lunch/dinner times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maybe I just unlucky, but at this rate Yumean do better than Ootoya. I ordered chicken with mixed grain rice, the taste is not good. I can’t eat the seaweed soup (I usually like it). A bit disappointed ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend guided me to this restaurant. The price was very reasonable, the staff were very friendly, and the menu was quite broad and interesting. I ordered some grilled chicken which was cook absolutely perfectly, with special rice, miso soup with lots of vegetables and pickles. It was a great lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a lunch on our last day, we opted for traditional japanese grilled fish, it is AWESOME and very wholesome filling meal! The price is less than ¥1000 if you opt for lesser rice, which i regret, the mixed rice is super good and the fish are very tasty.
Staff generally doesn't communicate well in language other than japanese but english menu is available on ipad and they will know you enough to show that to you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food portions were adequate for lunch, taste was not bad. Slightly more pricey compared to other Teishoku restaurants. Space was rather small and cramp. You order via an IPad which had English translation.
