★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 古くから地元民に親しまれている和菓子屋さん。「観音最中」がおすすめ。バラでも買えるけど箱詰めに入っている「最中の由来のしおり」がとても良いので箱で買ってみてほしい。季節の和菓子も工夫されていて美しい。三角型の甘くない「豆餅」が素朴で昔ながらの味で、本当のオススメ。カーブしたショウウインドウは時代物でレトロな風格がある。

You can buy it in bulk, but the "bookmark from the middle" in the box is very good, so please buy it in the box. Seasonal Japanese sweets are also devised and beautiful. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 弘明寺の門前町が気に入っていて10年振りに訪れました。和菓子屋を探して盛光堂さんを見つけたました。お店の方のお勧めで「観音まんじぢゅう」と「観音最中」を購入しました。田舎も城下町で美味しい和菓子屋さんがありますが、盛光堂さんはそれ以上に美味しかったです。また買いに来ようと思います。
I liked the town of Gumyoji and visited it for the first time in 10 years. I searched for a Japanese sweets shop and found Mr. Seikoudou. I bought "Kannon Manjiju" and "Kannon Monaka" at the recommendation of the shop. There are delicious Japanese sweets shops in the countryside as well, but Seikodo was even more delicious. I will come to buy it again.

かんのん桜(300円)は桜色の羊羹と桜の塩漬けが入った透明のゼリーが2層になっています。
あまじょっぱくほんのり桜の香りで上品なテイストでした。
おとめ桜 (150円)白餡が求肥で包まれて桜に型抜きされたゼリーが載って可愛らしい造形。
くどくない甘さともっちりした食感が良かったです。
さすが老舗の安定感あるクオリティでした。
看板商品の県指定銘菓・観音最中も気になります。
