1 minute walk from Mitakesan station on the Ikegami line. It is next to the Aeon Mitakeyama station square store. Although it is located in the middle of a residential area, Aeon, a shopping district, a train station, and other popular things, it has the benefit of being dignified and reminiscent of Honchan's Mitake Shrine. The shrine office is on your left after passing the torii gate and facing the front of the main shrine. You can receive amulets, omikuji, and red stamps here. The carvings on the back of the main shrine are very complete, and there is a glimpse of it. You can enjoy it together with the "Find Taro!" Challenge.

Located just off the west exit of Mitake Station. Read as Otake. The guardian dogs are enshrined near the torii gate and in front of the shrine, but each has a long history and is valuable. The guardian dog near the worship hall is actually a wolf. The following is an excerpt from the official website The creation of the Mitake Shrine is said to be around the 4th year of Tenbun (1535), when Minemura (currently Minemachi district) was established. It is presumed that it was a small shrine at that time and was close to a shrine, but the number of believers has increased dramatically since the visit of Ichiyama, who trained at Mt. In the 2nd year of Tenpo (1831), the current large shrine was built and the spirit was relocated. Many of the believers were wealthy merchants in Edo, and it seems that a considerable amount of donations were made. Many believers who worship Mt. Kiso Ontake visit from the entire Kanto area, and the momentum continues to Edo, Meiji, Taisho, and Showa. It seems that it was said that if you visit Mt. Ontake Shrine three times, it is the same as going to Mt. Kiso Ontake once. After World War II, the total number of believers on Mt. Kiso Ontake has been declining, but even now, the Kosha is regularly visiting as a group. On the other hand, since it has six districts of parishioners and a support group is organized, the festivals are getting bigger year by year with great support from local parishioners. In addition, once every 20 years, a ceremony to carry a portable shrine to Motoyama is held (August 2011 is the second time). At the back of the shrine precincts, there is a guardian forest named "Reigami no Mori", which is a sanctuary along with the Reigami monument. Professor Akira Miyawaki, Professor Emeritus of Yokohama National University, supervised the tree planting of the forest. The main shrine, which sits in the center, is a cultural property of Ota Ward, and the sculptures on the walls are particularly impressive. In addition, the 400-year-old black pine tree is revered as a "couple pine tree". Various other famous places are scattered around the precincts, creating a quiet space that you can't imagine in a shopping district.

I had worshiped several times when I was a student, but I worshiped with my parents early in the morning on weekdays. It is a few minutes walk from Ontakesan Station. At the back of the shrine precincts, there is a guardian forest named "Reigami no Mori", which is said to be a sanctuary along with the Reigami monument. The main shrine, which sits in the center, is a cultural property of Ota Ward, and the sculptures on the walls are especially spectacular. And there is a 400-year-old black pine tree as a "couple pine tree". There are various other famous places in the precincts, We are creating a special space that does not seem to be in a shopping district. As a sculpture lover, I was nailed to the sculpture on the wall where I can feel the history (^^)

It is a shrine from which the station name is derived, rather than immediately from Ontakesan Station on the Tokyu Ikegami Line. The site is not so big, but it has a considerable presence. Originally it was a small shrine, but since the Kiso Ontake mountain practitioner Ichiyama pilgrims solicited spirits and built the shrine in the late Edo period in Tenpo, it has become an important base for the Kiso Ontake mountain worship. That's right. The sculptures on the sides and back of the main shrine are spectacular. In addition to the main shrine of the main shrine, there are Enmei Jizoson, Inari Shrine, and Otori Shrine, as well as a shrine dedicated to a mountain pilgrim and a water shrine that is said to have been watered. Since Otori Shrine is solicited, there is also a rooster market.

Although it is near the station, it has a quiet atmosphere. The guardian dog is a wolf because it is Mitake Shrine. What's interesting is that it has something like a scroll in its mouth. In addition, something round like a jewel is also modeled on the head. It's an expression that you don't see at other Utaki shrines, What do these represent? In addition, a magnificent sculpture picture scroll is drawn on the wall of the main shrine. This is also quite spectacular.

Ontake Shrine was originally build around the year 1535, when the surrounding village was called Minemura. The present day version of the shine complex dates back to 1831. Today it is a prominent fixture in the community, serving as a host to several festivals throughout the year and providing services to commemorate life events. Certainly worth a brief visit for those already in the area. #ontakezan #haneota
