また、トイレは改札の外にありますから、用を済ませてから改札内に入ってください。
駅前が西国街道で、史跡を見ながら、散策するのもオススメです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 電車の折り返しが行われる駅で中線を使って行われる。駅の改築は行われているけど設備の近代化は残念ながらそのままなのかも…。途中の駅の一つ(快速停車駅)でも上下線共に待避線があればと思う。

平成28年 2016年に新しい駅舎ができてから、
一度も利用していなかったから利用してみた。
以前の貫禄ある駅舎も良かったけど、
綺麗になって便利になった。
