 There is also the largest zoo in Tohoku, and the view of the Sea of Japan from the observation deck is the best. If the weather is good, you can see the Oga Peninsula and the coastline to Sakata City, Yamagata Prefecture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 今日、久しぶりに大森山公園に愛犬と散歩に行きました。この場所は雨降り後に行っても上の方は水捌けが良く、又芝生も適度の長さなので散歩をしたり、軽いスポーツなら最適だと思います。
Today, I went for a walk with my dog at Omoriyama Park for the first time in a long time. Even if you go to this place after it rains, the upper part has good drainage, and the lawn is also moderately long, so I think that it is ideal for taking a walk or for light sports.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 広い芝生のある公園です。芝も短く整えられていました。新しい東屋やきれいなトイレもあり、動物園のついでにピクニックするにはちょうどいい場所です。
It is a park with a large lawn. The grass was also short. With a new eastern house and clean toilets, it's a great place to have a picnic while you're at the zoo.

I often go out with my daughter to Green Square where you can easily have a picnic and BBQ. Set up a hammock, play with a ball, and don't get crowded unlike a zoo.
