It was fulfilled that Minamoto no Yoritomo prayed for a resurrection, and after that, he gained strong trust from Minamoto no Yoritomo and developed as a worship shrine of the Genji clan, and also has a close relationship with the Gohojo and Tokugawa families.・ A museum displaying the treasures and materials of Mishima Taisha ?? The first floor is a merchandise sales and souvenir corner, and the second floor is a fairly large permanent exhibition room ? In particular, the beautiful and gorgeous gold leaf "Ume Maki-e Hand Box", which is said to have been dedicated by Masako Hojo, the wife of Minamoto no Yoritomo, who has been designated as a national treasure, is a must-see. It is ✨ ✨ ✨ However, the one on display is a duplicate, but it's too amazing with two real melons ?? In addition to that, "Tachimei Sotada" dedicated by Emperor Meiji, which is designated as a national important cultural property, "Tachi Nishin" dedicated by the third general, Tokugawa Ieyasu, and Kamakura Shogunate No. 1 in the early Kamakura period. "Paper book ink book Hanwa Shinkyo" designated as an important cultural property that is said to have been written by the second shogun, Mishima Taisha, and in the Middle Ages, Minamoto no Yoritomo, Hojo Tokimasa, and the Northern and Southern Dynasties. From the documents of the important cultural properties such as Mr. Takashi Ashikaga and Mr. Naoyoshi Ashikaga, and in the modern age, the ancient documents from the Heian period to the Edo period that are handed down to the Mishima Taisha and its Miyaji family Yatabe family This book was copied by four superiors, including "Mishima Taisha Yatabe Family Document 592", which is designated as an Important Cultural Property, and Mishima Taisha, Kaison Shonin, Shigeson Shonin, and Shinson Shonin. "Mishima Taisha Nihon Shoki", which is designated as a cultural property of the prefecture that is said to have been dedicated, and Tokugawa Ieyasu, the ancestor of the Kishu Tokugawa family and the ancestor of the Mito Tokugawa family, Tokugawa Taisha. The best time to see, such as the "36 Kasen Sewing Picture Amount" dedicated by my mother, Mishima Taisha, was so full that I was full ??? In addition to the treasures I just introduced, it was very nice to see a panel introducing the history of Mishima Taisha and items for festivals held at Mishima Taisha ?? The people in the hall are a little unfriendly, but it was nice to be a surprisingly friendly person when talking ???

The decorations such as carvings are very wonderful. It is recommended not only to visit but also to see the decoration from various angles. Afternoon on weekdays, it is a quiet place where there are some people, but you can relax. Mishima is famous for spring water, but I was able to find beautiful murmuring. The parking fee was 200 yen per hour, but since it was paid first, it may be 200 yen at least except during the busy season.

This is a treasure museum where the sacred treasures and historical materials handed down from Mishima Taisha Shrine are displayed. Most of the exhibits are materials related to the Yatabe clan, which has been the head priest of Mishima Taisha for generations, a drawing of the precincts of Mishima Taisha Shrine, and correspondence with military commanders who have been deeply involved with Mishima Taisha, etc. There are not many treasures donated to the shrine. It is very informative to learn about the historical background of Mishima Taisha, but you may feel that it is not enough to dig deeper into the relationship between the warlords and Mishima Taisha Shrine. The exhibition room is located on the second floor of the building, and the basic way to get up and down is by stairs. There is an elevator, but its location is a bit confusing. Wheelchairs are available for rent so that visitors with disabilities can easily use the museum. The admission fee is 500 yen for adults, which may seem a bit expensive considering the contents of the exhibition. In addition, there are few explanations in English or other foreign languages.

Many people who visit the shrine have come to the shrine many times and may not stop by, but the treasure house of Mishima Taisha will recognize its value no matter how many times you see it. This time, I was interested in the event exhibition on the first floor.
