★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 境内は整備されていて空気がとても澄んでいて、穏やかな雰囲気だったので長い時間滞在していたくなるような神社でした。
末社や石碑は社殿を囲む様に並んでいます。
狛犬は可愛らしい顔立ちで親しみがあり、明るく歓迎してくれているようでした！
 The precincts were well maintained, the air was very clear, and the atmosphere was calm, so it was a shrine that made me want to stay for a long time.
The end shrines and stone monuments are lined up around the shrine.
The guardian dog was friendly with a cute face and seemed to be cheerful and welcoming!

由緒
欽明天皇の3年（541）2月8日創建と伝えられている。この年に武列天皇を祀っていたという説がある。
こうした伝えが何時作られたかわからないが、とにかく古くから神社の伝えを創造したものであろう。当、大宮神社の名から小字名大宮が生まれたであろう。雲井坂、西帝、勅使街道、大内冠街道等の地名が呼ばれ、これから御諸別王の子、賀袁真稚（かおのまわか）命が上毛野氏の一族有馬公の先祖で、この大宮神社を祭り、こうした祖先神を祭ったのではないかというのが神社の由来として考えられる。

拝殿前には大正14年生まれの狛犬(大正14年(1925)10月吉祥日建立)
村指定文化財 大宮神社獅子舞
大正15年（1926年）の大干ばつの際、船尾滝瀑布下で獅子舞が奉納され、それにより大雷雨をもたらし、榛名山一帯を救ったと伝わる。
境内には雨乞い祈願の霊験碑があり、雨乞い成功の喜びが歌に詠まれ、歌碑として残っている。
「うぢ子らの 心づくしの 獅子舞を 神もうけてや 雨降らしむ」

History
It is said that Emperor Kinmei was founded on February 8, 541. There is a theory that the Emperor Takeshi was enshrined in this year.
I don't know when these messages were made, but they probably created the message of the shrine from ancient times. The small name Omiya may have been born from the name of Omiya Shrine. Names of places such as Kumoisaka, Saisei, Teshikaido, and Ouchikankaido are called. From now on, the son of King Omorobetsu, Kaoru Mawaka, is the ancestor of the Uemagano clan Arima The origin of the shrine is thought to be that this ancestor god was enshrined at this Omiya shrine.

During the great drought of 1926, a lion dance was dedicated under the Funao Taki Waterfall, which caused a heavy thunderstorm and saved the whole area of Haruna.
There is a memorial monument for praying for rain in the precincts, and the joy of succeeding in the rain is sung in the song and remains as a song monument.
