In business since 1964, this true gem of a bar was the highlight of our venture to Akita. There were the necessary Covid precautions, and although social distancing was limited, we managed to find a seat at the bar. The bartender/owner and his assistant were both professional and friendly in a way that made you feel as if you were a regular customer. The bar is impeccably stocked with a selection that could rival the finest bars in the world. There is an extensive craft cocktail menu and watching the experts ply their trade is memorable. Amazingly, cocktails are fashioned with nothing but top quality ingredients. No skimping here. Hand cut clear ice, high end glassware and over the top "Otoshi" - ridiculously delicious. This establishment is an absolute MUST VISIT if you are anywhere near Akita. It has the highest recommendation I can offer.
