It was an old and quaint building.
It is a pity that the bookstore has not been published, as it is the only one that is released.

The Hayashi family's house (retirement house), which was the Wakihonjin of Ota-juku on Nakasendo, is open to the public.
It is a magnificent and old building designated as a national important cultural property.
The main team is across the street, but only the gate remains.

It is a building that was once a side wing of Otajuku. Anyway, I am surprised at the size of the mouth. "Udatsu" (which is the "Udatsu" used when it comes to "the guy who can't go up") is also very good. Since the owner still lives in the main house, you can not visit it, but those who are in the house are open to the public. I think people who retired from the name of the house called "Residence" would have lived there, but there are also two rooms with space between floors, which is quite impressive.
It is a sideline team, but I think that the thing of the scale of this size is quite rare nationwide. In fact, there are no buildings at all, and only the gate remains. Apart from the Honjin industry, they also sold and sold pawn shops and miso soy sauce, so could you survive the era of a major transformation from Edo to Meiji?

Wakihonjin of Ota-juku, where Udatsu is also excellent. Itagaki Taisuke is said to be the inn where he stayed the day before he was distressed in the so-called Gifu Incident. Trees sent from the Itagaki are also planted in the garden. It is well preserved and reminds me of the past.
It's a nice place to visit for free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an old preserved house open to the public next to Wakihonjin which is 250 years old. Design and architectural elements give a glimpse as to how people used to live in the feudal Edo period of the 1700s. Check out the storage in the rafters due to the constantly flooding nearby river, and the glassless windows with shutters, and metal-less door locks. There is a suikinkutsu outside, where you drop water into a pile of rocks and hear bells, just like in Kyoto!
