 There were also gassho-style houses, cluster amaryllis, and snakes, so I'm thinking of going there again during the fall foliage season.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この植物園内では一番大きな池。夏は睡蓮が咲きほこり、秋には紅葉が水面に映えてとても美しいです。
※先日、ライトアップに行って来ましたが、ものすごい人出で池に近づくことさえ難しい状況。東山植物園であれ程の人混みを見たのは初めてでした。紅葉はもちろん美しかったです。
The biggest pond in this botanical garden. In summer, water lilies are in full bloom, and in autumn, autumn leaves are reflected on the water.
* I went to light up the other day, but it is difficult to get close to the pond because of the tremendous crowd. It was the first time I saw such a crowd at Higashiyama Botanical Garden. Of course, the autumn leaves were beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2019年は紅葉にはちょっと早めでしたが2020年12月中旬に訪れたときはいい感じでまだ紅葉も残ってました。
It was a little early for the autumn leaves in 2019, but when I visited in mid-December 2020, it felt good and there were still autumn leaves.
