屋根のてっぺん, 斜めにニュッと出てる板が水平にカットしてあります.
内削 (うちそぎ) というらしいですが, 岡山の神社で初めて見ました.
垂直カット (外削 = そとそぎ) しか見たことなかったからちょっと感動.
神社まわりの本2冊の内1冊に
「内削は女神を祀る, 外削ぎは男神を祀るとも言われている」
と書いてあったがそのへんどうなんでしょ.

At the top of the roof, a board that sticks out diagonally is cut horizontally.
It's said to be Uchisogi, but I saw it for the first time at a shrine in Okayama.
I was a little impressed because I had only seen vertical cuts (external cutting = sotosogi).
In one of the two books around the shrine
"Internal cutting enshrines a goddess, and external cutting is said to enshrine a god."
It was written, but what's wrong with that?
