烏山線の車両が引退するので、駅内掲示物も凝っていてGOODでした！
 A beautiful station just rebuilt in the region.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 改札が二階へ移設され、西口も新設されたので、もう踏切を待つ必要が無くなりました。
また、エレベーターも設置されたので、やっとバリアフリー化が実現しました❗
The ticket gate has been relocated to the second floor and the west exit has been newly established, so there is no longer a need to wait for a level crossing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2F駅改札前を通って東西口の移動出来ます(エスカレータは登りのみ)。駐輪場は西口です。エレベーターは両側に有りますので車椅子も大丈夫。
駅前はちょっと寂しい感じ。
You can move to the east and west exits in front of the ticket gate on the 2nd floor (Escalators can only be climbed). Bicycle parking is at the west exit. Elevators are on both sides, so wheelchairs are OK.
A little lonely in front of the station.

28年東西に出入口が出来き、バリアフリーになり便利になりました。
連絡通路・階段・E/V 綺麗な駅です。
因みに写真に写ってるゆるキャラは
宇都宮市のミヤリーです。

6〜19時は、駅員が常駐しているはずなんだが、改札口の窓は閉じられたまま。自動改札機だけがせっせとお仕事している。無人時間用に乗車証明書も出てくる。うーんキセルしてくださいと言わんばかりのような駅。
タクシーは、東口ロータリー南側にタクシー会社の営業所があるので、駅前に一台もいなければそこで待つ。

The station staff should be stationed between 6 and 19:00, but the ticket gate window remains closed. Only automatic ticket gates are working. A boarding certificate will also be issued for unmanned hours. Well, just like to tell me to stop.
There is a taxi company office on the south side of the east exit rotary, so if there is no taxi in front of the station, wait there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 仕事で来た帰りに利用しました。
宇都宮駅から一駅の東北本線の駅ですが、此方の駅前は閑散としていますね。
東側しか見ていませんが、飯屋は鉄板焼ともんじゃの店が在りましたが、コンビニは無いです。離れた場所にラーメン屋やベルギーチョコの店が在りましたが、他に目ぼしい店は見当たりませんね。
駅は改装したのか綺麗でした。ロータリー前にも御手洗いが有り、改札内にも有ります。
時間帯によっては無人駅に成るみたいですね。
特徴や見所は此れと言って無い、地方の駅でした。
