海側に遮るものがなく、見晴らしも良い。
南西側の柱状節理も迫力があって良い。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 見晴らしが良いところです。波の音が気持ちよく聞こえます。玄武岩の柱状節理が見られます。昔、岩肌で数人の女の人が岩海苔採りをしているのを見たことがあります。喫茶が出来るお店があります。
The view is good. You can comfortably hear the sound of the waves. You can see columnar joints of basalt. I once saw a few women on the rock face collecting rock laver. There are shops where you can have coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 香住の宿へ行く前に見晴らしが良い高台の公園に行きました。思ったより絶景。日本海，断崖絶壁、素晴らしい光景です。野鳥も見られます。
Before going to Kasumi no Yado, I went to a park on a hill with a good view. The view is better than I expected. The Sea of Japan, cliffs, and wonderful sights. You can also see wild birds.

狭くて急な道を登って登ったところに
駐車スペースがあったので、歩かずに楽に登れました。
景色は素晴らしく公園もきれいに整備されています
人気が少なく穴場の場所だと思います
公園内に和風なカフェがあり休憩できます。
建物は昔の感じでしたが、カフェ風でおしゃれな雰囲気。
そこからの景色も素晴らしいのだろうなと思うので
今度はぜひ行きたいです。

It is believed that this part used to be an island separated from this part of land. There is an impressive view of a massive breakwater stretching out off the shore right next to the park.
