★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ふらっと立ち寄ったのですが、追分の歴史を現物で学べる穴場でした！軽井沢の発展の歴史も学べてしまいます。歴女にはたまらないでしょう！近くの堀辰雄文学館など散策するとタイムトリップみたいです。旧軽井沢や中軽井沢にはない、追分は落ち着いていて、良い雰囲気です！
 I dropped in by all means, but it was a good place to learn the history of the extras in real terms! I will also learn the history of the development of Karuizawa. It will be unbearable to Shinjo! It's like a time trip when you take a walk around the nearby Hori Tatsumi Literature Museum. It is not in the former Karuizawa and Naka-Karuizawa, Oita is calm and has a good atmosphere!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 郷土館のスタッフさんが、中山道の話をして下さいました。2階には、当時と現代までの写真など色々な品物が、展示していました。館内のおトイレをお借りする事が、出来ました。
The staff of the local museum talked about Nakasendo. On the 2nd floor, various items such as photographs from that time to the present day were exhibited. I was able to rent a toilet in the hall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 追分宿の入口にある郷土資料館である。ポール・ジャクレーの木版画を観るために伺った。資料館自体はそんなに大きくはないが想像以上に整った施設であった。一階で靴を脱いでスリッパに履き替え観覧するのが面倒であることと、11月初旬の気候で少々館内寒かった（空調がイマイチ効いてなかった）のが気になった。
ポール・ジャクレーの多色刷り木版画は「浮世絵」というよりはその色使いや線の精緻さからモダンなイラストレーションのようであり、大変素晴らしかった。
It is a local museum at the entrance of Oiwake-shuku. I visited to see Paul Jacoulet's woodblock prints. The museum itself was not so big, but it was a facility that was better than I had imagined. I was worried that it was troublesome to take off my shoes and put on slippers on the first floor for viewing, and that the climate in early November made the building a little cold (the air conditioning was not working).
Paul Jacoulet's multicolor woodblock prints were more like modern illustrations because of their color scheme and line precision, rather than "ukiyo-e", and they were very nice.

掘辰雄記念館とセットですと400円で入館出来ます。
500円お支払いすると、更に旧三笠ホテルも入館出来ます。
馬子唄。素晴らしいです。

ここを見ると江戸時代の追分宿の様子が良く分かります。
そのあと旧追分宿を江戸時代の活気を想像しながら散歩すると楽しいです。今は全く活気はありませんが。

If you look here, you can see the state of Oiwake-shuku in the Edo period.
After that, it is fun to take a walk in the old Oiwake-shuku while imagining the liveliness of the Edo period. It's not very lively right now.
