★ ★ ★ ★ ★ カーブと急勾配が続く有馬線。この駅も構内踏切がある。地図で確認したが線路の南側に住宅街が広がる。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 聞くところによると50年以上前からずっと同じ駅舎、同じ「大池駅」の看板(びっくりするほど小さい！)らしいです。
昔の写真を見たら本当に今と同じでした！
どんどん綺麗になっていく駅が多い中、そういう意味では逆に貴重だと思う。
昭和感満載の、昔ながらの田舎の小さな駅、というたたずまい。
むしろこの先も可能な限りずっと今のままで昔の面影を残していってほしい。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駅前は綺麗にお掃除されてました。1／28の10：30過ぎも風が強くて寒いのに駅員さんがトイレ?やホームを綺麗になさってました。大池駅の方は良く働かれます。だから何時もきれいです。乗客の方、カンやごみは?️へいれて下さいね☀️?。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ホームで待って居ても嫌な目に合っことないし駅員さんも親切です。冬はホームは凄く寒いですから暖かい服装でないと待ち時間寒すぎ!?❄️❄️?

駅周辺には落ち着いた街並みが広がっています。
最近下り改札が新設されました。

駅構内での上下線の連絡通路はなしで上下線で改札が別れてる。
トイレは北側駅舎では身障者用男女共用トイレ一箇所しかありませんでした。
As of 2021, the station building for Arima Sanda on the north side has been renewed.
There is no connecting passage for the upper and lower lines in the station yard, and the ticket gates are separated by the upper and lower lines.
There was only one unisex toilet for the physically challenged in the north station building.
