Will visit this town and onsen again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the three main onsen of Kusatsu. It has a big inside bath and a wonderful outside area with rotenburo and a sauna as well. I really enjoyed my time here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Is that the best onsen in Kusatsu!? It might is! The baths are all excellent and there are many kinds. I was lucky and could enjoy the outdoor bath under the snow, at night. There is also an area with many baths, all of different temperatures for you to challenge. Absolutely lovely and recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited on Jan 8, 2019: relaxing onsen, this place is quite big. Great restaurants inside and I like the milk after the onsen and the super relaxing massage chairs. In kusatsu onsen, everything is reachable in walking distance, you can easily walk around the city. There’re a lot things to explore when you’re walking around, beautiful little cafes or restaurants.

There are 2 different hot springs: indoor and outdoor. During winter I do recommend this place because is very near to downtown.
Very good quality beauty products (Shampoo, conditioner and body soap) are included in the price. ☺️?✨

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, well kept, & centrally located! This water was a bit more acidic than I like - actually “stung” my skin. At first I thought it was the heat or that I somehow hurt my skin along the way only to realize that I’m a bit sensitive to this water’s mineral mixture.
