夜はとても静かでしたが、朝早くからは本格登山者が到着してきて、車ドアの開閉音等で少し騒がしかった。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 無料だけあって砂利敷で駐車枠も所々しか確認できませんでした。混雑するシーズン等は素直に有料駐車場に停めたほうが安心てすね。ドアパンチは駐車料金程度じゃ直せませんからね。
逆に空いている時期ならコチラで十分かと。バスターミナルからもさほど離れていませんし。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駅にもっと近い有料駐車場は一日中1000円です。この無料駐車場は駅まで歩いて7分くらいでしょうか。ここは扇沢バスターミナルに最も近い無料駐車場です。100台くらいは止められるのと、立山に長期間滞在する人が止めるケースが多いのでしょうか。週末の夕方になっても空の減りは少ない駐車場になります。白線やロープは張っていないので、結構自由に停めている人が多いです。車の入口とは逆方面に扇沢バスターミナルへの歩いていける近道がありますので是非準備ができたら奥の方に歩いていきましょう。雪が積もっている時期は整備は少し足りないと思いますが無料なのでしょうがないと思います。また立山黒部アルペンルートを利用している人は設備が維持されるよう少しでもお金を落としていきましょう！

Also, if you are using the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, let's drop some money so that the equipment will be maintained!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 無料駐車場にトイレはありません。24時間使用可能なトイレは、①有料の第一駐車場中央西（第一駐車場の真ん中駅側）と、②扇沢駅舎一階の1番北（駐車場から駅舎を見て右の方）になります。
到着したらトイレの位置を確認すると良いです。無料駐車場から近い方の①のトイレを目指して行って、使われていたら①トイレの脇にある階段を使って②のトイレに行けば良いです。
①トイレと②トイレの距離の違いはほんのわずかです。ちなみに②のトイレの近くにはサントリーとアサヒ（ビール）とコカコーラの自動販売機があります。
休日（令和3年9月23日）に針ノ木岳登山をするため、車中泊をしようと前日の21時頃到着した時の駐車率は60%位でした。翌朝５時に登山に行く時には満車でした。
