★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 外川漁港の釣り船で、一番お世話になっている船です。船長さんの腕がよく、ヒラメ釣りで毎回満足のいく釣果で信頼しています。
なお、外川漁港にはヒラメの釣り船たくさんありますが、新昇丸さんが連れて行ってくれくれる釣り場は他の船と違う場合が多いようです。船団を遠くに見ながら、もしくは周りに他の船が見えない状況で釣りしていることが多い気がします。にもかかわらず釣果が他の船を上回るということは、船長さんが良いポイントを知っていて、読みも的確なのだと思います。
