★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3と8のつく日に朝市があります。地元の美味しい野菜や、茄子のカラシ漬け、素晴らしく切れ味の良い良い包丁が買えます。ピーマンが甘くてこどもがピーマン好きになってビックリです。

奈良時代には東大寺の大仏建立を助けるため守護神として手向山 八幡宮が祀られ、平安時代には平安京の守護神として都の裏鬼門に石清水八幡宮が祀られた。
また、この石清水八幡宮で元服の式を挙
げたのが八幡太郎義家と称した源義家で、源氏の氏神、武門の神として仰がれた。
源頼朝は鎌倉幕府を開くと、鶴岡八幡宮を現在の地に勧請し幕府の守護神とした。
その後、八幡神社は全国各地の武士に崇敬される ようになり、その信仰は庶民にも広がっていった。
大原八幡神社
社伝によると文亀元年(一五〇一年)、源頼信の臣、山口某が霊夢により石清水八幡宮の分霊を勧請したといわれる。

In the Nara period, Tamukeyama Hachimangu was enshrined as a guardian deity to help build the Great Buddha of Todaiji Temple, and in the Heian period, Iwashimizu Hachimangu was enshrined at the back demon gate of the capital as a guardian deity of Heiankyo.
In addition, a ceremony for genpuku was held at this Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine.
It was the Minamoto no Yoshiie, who was called the Yawata Taro Yoshiie, and was hailed as the god of Genji and the god of the Buke.
When Minamoto no Yoritomo opened the Kamakura Shogunate, he solicited Tsurugaoka Hachimangu to his present location and made him the guardian deity of the Shogunate.
After that, Hachiman Shrine became revered by samurai from all over the country, and its belief spread to the common people.

According to the company's biography, in the first year of Bunkame (1501), Minamoto no Yorinobu's vassal, Yamaguchi, solicited the spirit of Iwashimizu Hachimangu by Reimu.
