春には桜が咲き、夏には紫陽花、秋は紅葉が美しいそうです。
ダムの水は、農業、工業用水として使われているそうです。
今は工事中なので、通常ならばダムに沈んでいる所を見ることが出来ます。
ダムは、昭和４８年に完成し、底に沈んだ所は、以前は田んぼや畑だったそうです。
工事は、来年の３月までという事なので、見ることが出来るのは今のうち。
次に見ることが出来るのは、１６年後だそうです。
ダムカードがあり、いただきました。

The water from the dam is used for agriculture and industrial use.
It's under construction now, so you can usually see it sinking in the dam.
The dam was completed in 1973, and the place that sank to the bottom used to be rice fields and fields.
The construction will be done until March next year, so you can see it now.
The next thing you can see is 16 years later.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 県道の入口からダムの管理事務所まで約1.8km。勾配もキツくなく、自転車でも気軽に行けるダム。桜の季節にまた来たい?
About 1.8km from the entrance of the prefectural road to the dam management office. A dam that is not steep and can be easily reached by bicycle. I want to come again in the cherry blossom season ?
