★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 岩城氏の城跡です。城の痕跡はありませんが、地形や曲輪の跡で山城に適した場所だったことが分かります。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大館の台地を利用した城跡。戦国大名岩城氏がこの地から成長し南は北茨城、西は古殿町まで領地を拡大した。現在、城跡の石碑があるが調査で立証されたものではない。国道、鉄道開通工事により分断されてしまったが松ガ丘公園まで地続きの台地だった。当時の大館城は未だにどの様な城郭かはわかってはいないが城ではなく舘だったと文献から考察される。後世に描いたと言われる絵図があるが疑わしい。
A castle ruin using the plateau of Odate. Sengoku Daimyo Iwaki grew up from this area and expanded the territory to Kitaibaraki in the south and Furudonomachi in the west. Currently, there is a stone monument to the ruins of the castle, but it has not been proved by research. It was divided by the national road and railway opening work, but it was a continuous terrace up to Matsugaoka Park. It is considered from the literature that Odate Castle at that time was not a castle but Tachi, although it is still unknown what kind of castle it is. There is a picture that is said to have been drawn in posterity, but it is doubtful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ せっかく見晴らしの良い高台なのに周りに杉の木が生い茂っていて景色がよく見えない。写真撮ろうにも藪に入らないと外界の景色は写せない。
夜に行くと照明も全くないし、木のせいで夜景もよく見えないし薄気味悪い雰囲気。
神社とかもあるし、肝試しとかにはいいのかも。
夜はなるべく行きたくないです♪
Even though it is a hill with a good view, cedar trees are overgrown and the scenery cannot be seen well. Even if you take a picture, you can't capture the scenery of the outside world unless you enter the bush.
At night, there is no lighting at all, and because of the trees, the night view cannot be seen well and the atmosphere is creepy.
It may be a shrine, or it may be good for a liver test.
I don't want to go at night ♪

石垣が少しだけ残っています。

訪れた時はあまり整備されておらず、うら寂しい感じでした。
こういう史跡を、行政はもう少し整備して欲しいと感じました。
