莫	莫妄想 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 阿蘇海を見下ろす丘の上に2段の平坦面を削り出し、そこに一族の墳墓群を作ったこの地方の王家があった、と考えるとワクワクする。自分たちの王国を死後も見守ろうということだろうか。そしてこの墳墓群を見下ろす山道、ほとんど使われていないが、かつては岩滝から森本や周枳を経て峰山まで至る街道であったらしい。この峠越えの道を右坂、さらに越えた先の森本集落から周枳への峠を左坂といい、それぞれの峠の上に「右坂地蔵」、「左坂地蔵」が道中安全のためにお祀りされ、いまでも残っている。この山道は落葉や倒木もあって車での走行はできないが、きちんとアスファルト舗装がされているので歩行には問題がない。手軽なハイキングコースとしておすすめ。岩滝から板列展望台まで歩いても1時間もかからないだろう。 It is exciting to think that there was a royal family in this region who carved out a two-tiered flat surface on a hill overlooking the Aso Sea and built a group of clan tombs there. This mountain road cannot be driven by car due to fallen leaves and fallen trees, but there is no problem in walking because it is properly paved with asphalt. Recommended as an easy hiking course. It will take less than an hour to walk from Iwataki to the Ita-row Observatory.
