★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 今では日本有数の“四季桜の観光名所”となっている豊田市小原地区で、最初の四季桜の木が植えられ、その歴史が始まった土地。江戸時代後期、名古屋で漢方医術を学んだ藤本玄碩（ふじもとげんせき）が患者から譲り受けた「冬に咲く桜の木」をふるさとの地に植えたのが始まりという。

In the latter half of the Edo period, planting the "cherry tree blooming in winter" planted by patients Fujimoto Genekushi (Fujimoto Genki) who studied traditional Chinese medicine in Nagoya in the land of his hometown is said to begin.
