Best Teppanyaki restaurant in japan

M	Ming Shen Cheo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a lover of Teppanyaki and have tried dozens of restaurants all around the world, and Takumi Teppanyaki in Hiroshima, a one man show, is the best! What makes this place is the best and well chosen ingredients from all over Japan, competent skills over the hot plate and complementary sauces and accompaniments. Highly recommended.

F	Fernando Tavares on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best teppanyaki restaurant we have been. Excellent food, cooked to perfection, simply delicious food. Very friendly staff. Excellent service. They went above and beyond to try and communicate in English and even gave us an umbrella on our way out as it had started to rain heavily and we had to walk back to the hotel. Definitely the perfect place to eat if you want something amazingly delicious and memorable. Creme brulee for dessert is certainly the way to go.

Had dinner there the four days I was in Hiroshima, the quality was always the same. The seafood is very fresh (still alive) and they have hot sake... The meat is excellent, much better then the Kobe beef I had in Kobe, becose the chefs are really good, not only the products! I strongly recommend!

I’d like to believe there was a reason for this, but when another couple walks in immediately after without any issues, one can draw their own conclusions. Edit: I will retract my review due to the response from the owners.

There was no taste at all. Furthermore, for the quality and quantity the price was way too high. Next, instead of having 3 slices of meat for each person as indicated by the menu picture we got 5. The waitress said that we can cut one into two and we would have 6. Seriously?? Without ordering rice (which was not included in the already overpriced menu), we wouldn’t be half full at all. In addition, we had to wait until the end to get the rice. overall, I can not recommend this restaurant at all. Overpriced meat/food without any taste.
B	Belinda Winton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner and I had the Wagyu beef 6 course dinner at 6,000 yen each for 100gram it is much better priced then most and so worth it! The steak just melts in your mouth. Back home we get amazing steak and this is just as good! Fabulous little restaurant with lovely happy helpful staff! Also English menu available. Would highly recommend. We had a wonderful meal at this place.
