★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 道は狭いし小さな土砂崩れもよくありますが深夜、普通に走ってるだけで鹿や猪などに会える峠。
地元の人達による清掃もされていて、森林浴や山道の散歩など岐阜市内からも手軽に楽しめる自然スポット。穴場です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大野町から大谷トンネルを抜けて谷汲へ行く道の途中から山道に入れます。
狭くカーブが多い道ですがそれほど危険ではありません。
ゆっくり目に走れば問題ないです。
峠には広い駐車場があり、仮設トイレもあります。
ここから登山大野三山登山だとショートカットできます。
大谷山山頂までは20分～30分で到着します。
大谷山登山口の逆側に、少し登れば東屋がありますので
そこでお弁当ランチだけでもリフレッシュできますよ。
大谷山までは少し急な道もありますが、整備されているので初心者でも大丈夫だと思います。
一応トレッキング装備で行かれた方が良いですが。

There is a steep road to Mt. Otani, but I think it's okay for beginners as it is well maintained.
It's better to go with trekking equipment.
