川	川崎雄一郎 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 11/20の夜11時到着。すでに駐車場より100mほど下まで駐車されている。 11/21 4:30 車を出て登る。約30分ほどで到着！人は結構いるがまだスペースには余裕がある。好みの場所で日の出を待つ。 6時過ぎから明るくなり 7:30過ぎまで撮影して下山。車で下山中、駐車の列は2kmほど続いていた。 Arrived at 11:00 pm on November 20th. Tracer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 関西で雲海を見るならここ。竹田城跡に掛かる雲海を眺望できるベスト撮影スポット立雲峽。竹田城跡といえば雲海。これを見ることの出来る確率は30％。兵庫県・春日町と豊岡を結ぶ北近畿豊岡自動車道、遠阪トンネルを越えると周囲はもはや霧に包まれる。この霧を山の上から見ると雲海に見える。和田山インターチェンジを降りて下道を10分ほど、竹田交差点を左折し立雲峡の看板を確認したら右折して細い山道を更に10分。毎年9月から11月の間、前日の最高気温との気温差の大きい寒い朝に現れる起床現象。風の日は雲がが流れてしまいNGさらに雨の日は論外。明け方の登頂には懐中電灯・タオル・飲み物の携帯が必須。100円ショップの懐中電灯で十分。ありとなしでは大違い。街灯はひとつもないので階段が歩けない。この山を登りきった人だけが楽しめる雲海の光景。ようこそ日本のマチュピチュへ。 If you want to see the sea of clouds in Kansai, this is the place. Tachiunmine is the best shooting spot where you can see the sea of clouds over the Takeda castle ruins. The sea of clouds is the site of Takeda Castle. The probability of seeing this is 30%. After crossing the Tohsaka Tunnel on the Kitakinki Toyooka Expressway that connects Kasuga-cho and Toyooka in Hyogo Prefecture, the surrounding area is no longer covered with fog. Looking at this fog from the top of the mountain, it looks like a sea of clouds. After getting off the Wadayama Interchange and going down the road for about 10 minutes, turn left at the Takeda intersection, check the signboard of Tachiunkyo, then turn right and continue on the narrow mountain road for another 10 minutes. Every year from September to November, the wake-up phenomenon that appears on a cold morning with a large temperature difference from the highest temperature on the previous day. Clouds flow on windy days and NG. Furthermore, rainy days are out of the question. You must carry a flashlight, towels and drinks to reach the summit at dawn. 俊	俊 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 絶景好きな人は是非行って下さい。　自分は土曜日に行ってスッキリ晴れで(写真4)諦めて帰ろうとしたら妻から「明日は雲海チャンス」と連絡あり、急遽一泊して翌日再チャレンジ！なんとすんばらしい雲海に出会え感動しました。しかしこればかりは時の運なので、見れなくても再チャレンジしてほしいです。　山登りは中々しんどかったですので、ペース配分に気をつけましょう。　シーズン中は駐車場が満杯になってます。 (自分は単車なので助かりました) If you like superb views, please go. C	CCMama Chung on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The site is very pretty. Snow all around the place, be careful when walk up to the observation deck, because of the slippery steps, suggest to bring along a walking stick with you. We come at 3:30, the sun is perfect for taking photos.
J	Jesse Efron on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Castle in the Sky. Looking out of the Takeda Castle ruins, this is THE location for seeing the sea of clouds in Japan. This observation area is a 20 minute uphill walk (the signage says 30min but that's not really the case) from the upper parking lot. Arrive early or you will have to park at the bottom of the road and walk up (an extra 15-20 minutes). This is especially the case on weekends. For people coming from the city, there is a train station about 1K away from the road and the walk is quite pleasant. There are two other lower observation areas that also offer good views, but No. 1 is the highest and has a vast panorama. Keep in mind that the phenomenon of mist/fog rolling in happens in late fall (and randomly in spring at times) because of a temperature differential in the morning. So most people will get up early and try to watch the sunrise as the mist rolls in (or has already rolled in). I have been three times, always the last weekend of October/first days of November, and have seen the sea of clouds 2 out of 3 times. This year (2020) was quite warm so I'm guessing there isn't quite the morning temperature difference consistently happening yet so I wasn't able to see it, but it was still beautiful. If you have time, I recommend walking up further still past the No. 1 Observation area to the small pond (only an extra 3-5 minutes). Its really beautiful and has a wooden bridge and a lot of deciduous trees. This is a location in Japan I go out of my way to visit, definitely 5-stars if going in the fall and able to see the sea of clouds. Oh, I should mention that admission charges started in March 2020, and I think it costs 300 yen per person to go now.
