★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 嵐電で寺院巡りをするのに欠かせない駅。こちらで降りれば桂春院がすぐ近く。嵯峨野線の花園駅から妙心寺に入り、退蔵院や仏殿、法堂を巡り、敷地内の情緒ある路を散歩しながら桂春院を拝観して、こちらに抜ける、のがオススメです。嵐山方面の隣駅は仁和寺、北野白梅町方面の隣駅は等持院、どちらも素敵な庭園のある寺院なので、どちらに進んでも楽しめます。無人駅で単線区間です。近くにはオシャレなフランス料理店もあるようで、これからも究めて行きたい駅です。
An indispensable station for visiting temples on the Randen. If you get off here, Keishun-in is just around the corner. It is recommended that you enter Myoshinji Temple from Hanazono Station on the Sagano Line, visit Taizo-in Temple, Buddhist Temple, and Hodo, and take a walk along the emotional road on the premises to see Keishun-in Temple and exit here. The station next to Arashiyama is Ninna-ji, and the station next to Kitano Shiraume-cho is Tojiin, both of which have wonderful gardens, so you can enjoy either way. It is a single track section at an unmanned station. There seems to be a fashionable French restaurant nearby, and it is a station that I would like to continue to pursue.
