★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 一説には「息栖」「鹿嶋」「香取」の東国三社を結んだ線が「正三角形」になると言われています。しかし、ここ息栖神社跡地が旧社地だったと仮定して作図すると此処と香取神宮を底辺とする「二等辺三角形」が描けました。「正三角形」とすると「旧社地」は常陸利根川を隔てた対岸の中洲になります。
