Y	Yusuke I on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 女子大など学生利用多そうで、駅のゴミ箱は溢れていたり何かと問題はありそうでした。武蔵野線単線の割に利用者も多そうです。駅の周りにはそれなりにチェーン店やコンビニもあり使い勝手は悪くなさそうです。 There seemed to be many students use such as women's colleges, and the trash bins at the station were overflowing or there seemed to be a problem. H	H K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新座市の中央北部に位置する武蔵野線の駅です。新座駅は「新座」という名前があるものの、その歴史は浅く、1973年開業という比較的新しい駅で、両隣の東所沢と北朝霞駅の距離が長すぎるために作られたという経緯があります。当時の周辺住民は駅の新設に反対だったらしく、周囲は2002年に南口の再開発が行われるまではとても駅として扱えるような場所ではなかったそうです。現在、南口はとても綺麗になり、駅前として十分な昨日を持っていますが、北口は開発が十分に進んでおらず、解説当初のブドウ園などが広がる、すこしローカルチックな作りとなっています。志木駅には劣りますが、新座駅の南口には大型商業施設が数ヵ所あり、それになぞってか近代的なタワーマンションがいくつか建っています。駅前の広場には新座市を代表する「野火止用水路」と水車が設営されており、規模こそ見衰えはしますが、新座市を代表する立派な駅だと感じました。 It is a station on the Musashino Line located in the northern part of the central part of Niiza City.
