新卒でエンジニアとして入社しました。入社から今日まで現在の役割を担ってきて、経験を重ねたことで責任や業務不可も上がってきました。しかし、その一方で新しい取り組みにチャレンジできないもどかしさを感じています。実力主義また効率化のため、ベテラン層の中途社員は重要な役割を振られます。すると新卒でコツコツ頑張っている職員であってもチャレンジできる機会はかなり減ってしまいます。何年たっても雑用がはがれきらないためキャリアアップをしてもそれを実感するまでかなり時間がかかります。仕事の内容には特に不満を持っていませんし、この先もまだまだ極めて行きたいと考えていますが、新しい取り組みになかなか参加できない、また機会が貰えないという現状がこの先も続くのであればどこかのタイミングで転職も考えなければいけないのではと考えています。もっと長年勤めてきた社員にも業務改善にチャレンジする機会や、新しいプロジェクトの参加等、何かしらの成長や学びを得られる機会が無いと、この先ずっと定職していくのは難しいように感じています。現在の自分のポジションではそれらを望みにくいため、この先会社としての変化が望めなさそうだと判断したら、転職を視野に入れたいと思っています。

I joined the company as an engineer as a new graduate. I have played my current role since I joined the company, and as I gained experience, my responsibilities and inability to work have increased. However, on the other hand, I feel frustrated that I cannot take on new challenges. Experienced mid-career employees play an important role in terms of meritocracy and efficiency. Then, even if you are a new graduate and working hard, the chances of taking on a challenge will decrease considerably. Even after many years, the chores will not come off, so even if you advance your career, it will take a long time to realize it. I'm not particularly dissatisfied with the content of my work, and I'd like to go on to the future, but if the current situation of being unable to participate in new initiatives and not being able to get opportunities continues, somewhere in the future. I think we have to think about changing jobs at the right time. I feel that it will be difficult for employees who have worked for many years to get a regular job forever unless they have the opportunity to take on the challenge of improving their work and gain some kind of growth and learning, such as participating in new projects. It is difficult to hope for them in my current position, so if I decide that I cannot hope for a change as a company in the future, I would like to consider changing jobs.
