★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ahhh, if you wanna experience a really classy mall in Tokyo, visit Nihombashi Takashimaya! The mall boasts of Italian like coffee shops, branded products and even Royce Chocolates. Of course this is a pricey mall since it is really offering classy products. It opens at 10:30am and closes at 7:30pm. When in Nihombashi, visit Takashimaya mall!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very posh shopping centre with mostly designer gear being sold. we only came to visit the pokemon centre and pokemon cafe. the pokemon centre was good and has a lot of products, however felt like it had been cramed into a space too small for it all and was kinda hard to walk around, especially with other shoppers. the pokemon cage was amazing. they make it very fun by giving you a placemat with a pokedex entry, which you turn over once your seated. also every time you purchase a drink you get a lucky dip coaster. they have a little gift shop however you can also pre order some stuff when you book online (as it is online reservation only) which we got and were super happy we did. would highly recommend the pokemon cafe but not the centre itself (which was very confusing to navigate).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great department store all round for high quality goods, however I was there recently for the 100 year anniversary ikebana exhibit by Sogetsu Ikebana school. The department store itself deserves a five star rating, hence the five stars I gave it!! But I was there for the flowers, and, well, this exhibition was lacking. This is not a reflection of the store, but the exhibition deserves 3.5 stars. Please understand that if you do not have the same metric as I do, you might justifiably give this a five star rating. However I have more than 10 years experience in ikebana exhibitions, and am a qualified Sogetsu instructor, and compared to past exhibitions, this was lackluster. Maybe because it’s such an important milestone, they wanted to make this conservative, but that doesn’t hold true to the tenets of Sogetsu. Well worth a visit if you’re new to ikebana, but for veterans like me ... well ... you might justifiably want more ...

The quality of selected clothes, toys, baby good, stroller are good, also there are many toy samples so that kids happily can wait while parents shopping.
Takashimaya's service is splendid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love to walk around department stores and this one does not disappoint. There's a variety of stores to check out within this place. There are clothing shops, miscellaneous stuff, and even a food court in the basement levels. The selection of foods there looked amazing, and they even sell those extremely expensive gift fruits. Would recommend to visit if you enjoy browsing department stores without actually buying anything.

At B-1 and B-2 floor there are many bakery, food and beverages counters, some mentioned themselve as restaurant, but not provided seating. Only some restaurants provide seat and table.
