元々は1.2番線の特急列車ホームにありました。
駅弁やお土産等も取り揃えてあります。

駅弁はレジ横のカウンター上にあり外から確認しずらい。今回は2種類の駅弁を購入。
浜街道潮目の駅弁:海の幸の幕の内弁当。鰹を炊き込んだ鰹飯、ウニを炊き込んだウニ飯。おかずは、カジキメンチ、カジキ揚げカマボコ、さんまポーポー焼き、大葉ガーリックソース、メヒカリ甘露煮、トマトゼリー、たくあんしそ巻き、かまぼこ、具沢山である。
うに貝焼き食べくらべ駅弁:蒸しウニ、貝焼きウニ、錦糸卵、イクラが盛られた酢飯。ガリが添えられる。存分にうにを堪能出来き美味しい。

駅弁とお土産品の取り扱いがあって小さいながらも充実した店舗です。
NEWDAYSは駅弁も取り扱ってくれますが、JR西のセブンイレブンは駅弁を全く取り扱ってくれません。
JR東のサービス精神に感服です。
It is inside the ticket gate.
It is a small but fulfilling store with ekiben and souvenirs.
NEWDAYS also handles ekiben, but JR West Seven-Eleven does not handle ekiben at all.
I am impressed with the service spirit of JR East.

いわき名物のお菓子などもあり、必要最小限なものは揃ってました。
セルフレジありなのは便利。
