★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a beautiful theatre, not to be confused with the opera city next door which hosts primarily musicals. The theatre attracts a better crowd in comparison to other halls like the sumida triphony. If you get seats in the upper balconies, bring your glasses. They are high up which may be daunting for some.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I happened to visit this theater for an opera performance. The opera house itself is magnifique by its architecture. The sound effects are fantastic that the singers are like performing near us. The cloakroom service is very efficient and polite. Also during intermezzo there are elegant snacks for refresh, but one needs to pay though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is such a nice theatre. It's connected to the metro and very modern. The bathrooms are very crowded during intervals so you need to be strategic. Men's toilets are closed on the ground floor so walk upstairs! Also not much food choices after a performance... So eat first or find a place that's open late beforehand.

The exteriors are really beautiful, with the pool in the middle.
Make sure to prepare foods as every food places near and inside the Opera will be crowded during breaks time (there are konbinis,supermarket, bakery and cafes in Tokyo Opera City)
