5月の春積みを迎えるころは、新芽がまぶしく大変素晴らしい。
収穫したお茶を加工する工場(中島園,大東園)もまた見事なので一緒に見ておきたい。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 埼玉県入間市にある、日本三大銘茶の一つであり、埼玉県の名産品でもある「狭山茶」?の広大な茶畑です。この茶畑を見れば、入間市の狭山茶の生産量がNo.1というのが一目瞭然でしょう‼️狭山丘陵の真っ只中、辺り一面茶の葉の緑に覆われ、その中にポツンポツンと点在する防霜ファン、どこまでも続く鉄塔・・・奥に望む秩父山地、富士山、筑波山・・・この風景はのんびりしていながらも、どこか懐かしく見応えのある、ここ意外ではそう簡単に見ることのできない貴重な風景です。自分は緑の少ない冬の元日にいきましたがそれでも中々趣のある風景を楽しめました‼️

広々した丘陵地にお茶の畝と防霜ファンが並び、とても爽快です。晴れた新茶の季節は特におすすめ。ほのかにお茶の香りも漂います。
一部けっこう狭い道もあり、当然農家の方々もいらっしゃるので通過・撮影の際はご注意を。
また、春～秋はどうしてもチャドクガの幼虫が発生し、刺されると痛みと腫れが酷くなるので合わせて十二分に気を払ったほうが良いでしょう。
夜は夜でまた不思議な印象の場所になって楽しいのですが、暗い上にメインの茶どころ通り等は結構飛ばしてくる車が多いのでお気をつけて。
