"I'm asking, so I want you to stop clinging to me." This was also a facility where the guards of Girojiro stood behind and could not relax. When I was reading the commentary, the woman reflected in the glass, standing behind me and looking at me ... I felt uncomfortable. It's like a video of a curse that really happened ... Of course, Iruma City was also explained, but the explanation about tea was detailed. The tea culture not only in Japan but also in the world was quite interesting. But as I said at the beginning, I don't think it's a place to go to be monitored. If you want to learn, you can just look it up online. If this style is normal, I wouldn't come to this place anymore.

Adult admission fee 200 yen. A JAF member presents a discount of 40 yen, and you can enter the museum for 160 yen. Free for junior high school students. Now that the corona is bad, it is necessary to measure the temperature and enter personal information. I received a free tea souvenir when I entered the museum. You can learn about the science museum, the history of Iruma, and tea in the museum. You can get a deeper understanding of the tea room and Sayama tea.

The name seems unique, but I think it is a local museum that mainly introduces the history of Iruma and Sayama. Old stone tools and pottery are on display, and I think it is a museum where you can get a glimpse of history. The parking lot will be free for about 30 cars.

I was able to see it without congestion. When I went with my child about 25 years ago, I happened to pass by, so I went there. The exhibits are almost the same. There is something valuable. The period exhibits are old photographs and tools ... It may be worth seeing nostalgic.

Family friendly museum in Iruma with a big focus on tea. One of the few tea museums in the world. The ground floor (1st floor) is mainly free to peruse and play in. The upper floor where the tea exhibits are costs 200 yen for adults and 50 yen for children. They hold a number of free events as well as ones that you have to pay for. You can try your hand at the Japanese tea ceremony a couple of times a month. They have a great "experience area" for kids with Japanese traditional toys and crafts available on the weekend. There is a tea shop and restaurant on site. Parking is free and plentiful. Close to Costco and Mitsui Outlet in Iruma. By public transport you need to get a bus from Iruma station on the seibu ikebukuro line.

The place was very clean with great good ambiance, safe for kids to visit. A lot of educational tools for children and adults as well. The restrooms were so clean too.

Small museum that's well-maintained, with a little shop inside. The permanent exhibition cost ¥200 to view, whereas any occasional special exhibitions cost extra. There's a science room for kids to explore, a section about the history and geography of Iruma and it's surrounding areas, as well as a floor about tea. Everything is in Japanese, but it's a nice place to spend a rainy morning or afternoon.
