Just have to mention their salad, I have visited twice in different days at different time, both times the vegetables are so fresh and fine that I literally cannot find any imperfection. What an effort!

J	Jo Lum on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourite food chain in Japan. Their beef tongue is sliced at the optimal thickness, allowing it to retain its chewiness and juice but yet not overwhelm. It is also very affordable. They have english menus and their servers are always friendly. This applies to all the Negishi stores I have went to in Tokyo. Their food and service standards are consistent. Would recommend this place to anyone. Their pork steak is delicious too! I have I tried another famous beef tongue restaurant at the Tokyo Skytree, which was 3x costlier. I felt a bit nauseated from that meal because their beef tongue was so thick and bloody. It did not go well with my system, even though I am one who always have my steak medium rare.

S	Saifu Angto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was skeptical when my travel mate suggested we try this place for lunch. Beef tongue? But, happy to report that I was wrong. It's delicious! The restaurant is on top of Takashimaya dept stores on the south side of Shinjuku train station. There are plenty of restaurants on the 13th and 14th floors, including Imahan where I enjoyed wonderful sukiyaki lunch in past years. The waiter is friendly and attentive, speaks passable English and provides English menu when requested. There are a variety of cuts for the beef tongue, and a couple that I tried are all yummy. The course include yummy rice that is also healthy as it's very high in fiber content (10x), side dishes of pickle vegetables. One can also order a bigger course which has soup, even small piece of dessert, etc. There are plenty of seatings indoor, none outdoor, and both booth and table style.
