★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 織田信長が弟信行と稲生合戦をした際に、佐久間大学に守らせた、名塚砦があったとされる場所です。
主祭神は菊理姫命、崇徳天皇です。
境内神社は、神明社、津島神社、金比羅神社、白王稲荷です。
It is the place where the fort Nazuka was supposed to have been protected by Sakuma University when Nobunaga Oda fought with his brother Nobuyuki Inoue.
The main deity is Riku Kiku, Emperor Sotoku.
The precincts of the shrine are Shinmei Shrine, Tsushima Shrine, Konpira Shrine, and Hakuo Inari.

この神社は、その昔、近くにある宗圓寺と同様に、名塚村が庄内川堤内地から引っ越しした際に、この場所へ御遷座されたという。
When I lived in this area, I visited there only once.
It is said that this shrine was relocated to this place when Nazuka Village moved from the Shonai River embankment, similar to the nearby Soenji Temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 名塚白山神社は創建は古く飛鳥時代白鳳年中(672年～682年)と伝わる由緒ある社です。明治5年に村社に列格されました。江戸時代明暦3年酉3月8日に川中より旧名塚城跡に遷座し名塚村の産土神として崇敬あつく、大正10年町内の金比羅社を合祀し昭和14年5月30日指定社となりました。
