事情を説明してもこちらをバカにしたような様子だったので腹が立った。他の駅員の対応はよかったが、その１人の駅員のせいで最悪なイメージになった。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 磐越東線の主要駅であり、郡山方面からの列車の大部分は折り返す。中間駅では珍しく駅長が配置されており、近くにはリカちゃんキャッスルがある(多くは車での来訪だが)
It is the main station of the Banetsu East Line, and most trains from Koriyama turn around. The station manager is unusually located at the middle station, and there is Licca Castle nearby (though many visit by car)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 郡山、いわき共に電車の半数はこちらの駅止まりです…が、｢The鄙びた山間の集落｣という感じ。
乗り換え駅という訳でもなく、近くに人が集まるスポットでも無く、なぜここが終着なのか不思議な駅です。
※高速のインターも近くにあり、沿線上の中ではマシな部類です。近くに個人経営のコンビニ(雑貨屋？)がありましたので載せとておきます！
無人駅でも不思議じゃないのですが有人駅です。他の方のコメントを見てJRも左遷があるんだなぁと納得?
待合室にダルマストーブがあるという昭和スポットで、次の電車まで1時間以上あるのに近所のお婆さん達が集まっていました。
次にダイヤ改正があれば本数半減＆無人化筆頭かな…
In Koriyama and Iwaki, half of the trains stop at this station ... but it feels like "The rural mountain village."

In the Showa spot where there is a dharma stove in the waiting room, the old women were gathering even though it was more than one hour until the next train.
Next, if there is a time schedule revision, the number will be reduced by half and it will be unmanned first.
