Very friendly stuff. Japanese music from the 80ties till modern playing in the background.
Great atmosphere. I really like this restaurant :)
Update: we went here 5 days in a row, cause it was so delicious. I tried new dishes every time, all were high quality and very delitious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super nice little restaurant in a quiet area of Kyoto! The food is delicious, they have vegetarian options and the price is very reasonable. Just a heads up, they don't have English menus so if you're not familiar with Japanese, I guess just asking for the main dish or a recommendation from the staff should be enough.
