片道10Kmのじゃり道林道コース
片側のさわも大きな落差がないので、
間違ってすっ転んでも、谷底に落ちる心配もないので、そこそこアクセル開けれるので、とても楽しい林道コースです。

車は無理かなぁ。。木が倒れていますから。。
実に走りやすい。大型のアドベンチャーでも走れますよ。
できれば、オフロード系が良いと思いますけど。。
当方は660ですけど。。小排気量なら。。攻められますね。(^_^;)
２か所程、崩落しているところがあり、そこだけ気をつけてください。
良好です。フラットダートではないですけどね。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ オフロード初心者でも楽しめる片道8kmのダートコースだが、ロードバイクは止めた方が良い。峠より北側(福井側)の方が荒れている。1974年(昭和49年)に堀越トンネルが開通するまで国道162号線として車やバスが通っていたとは信じがたいΣ（・□・；）
It is a one-way 8km dirt course that even beginners can enjoy, but it is better to stop the road bike. The north side (Fukui side) is rougher than the pass. It is hard to believe that cars and buses were passing on National Highway 162 until the Horikoshi Tunnel opened in 1974 (Showa 49) Σ (・ □ ・;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ オンロードバイクでも楽しめる旧鯖街道です。
特に京都側の出口付近の起伏に富んだ道はかなり楽しいです。
ただし、メインルートから離れるとオンロードバイクでは亀になってこけてしまうので注意が必要です（しかも横は崖なので、起こすのは非常に困難）。
ちなみに私は亀になり、しっかりと転けてしまっています。（写真4枚目）
福井県側からの入口は看板が立っているところの横になります。（写真1枚目）
なお、道が崩壊しており車では通行不能です。

It is an old Saba Kaido that you can enjoy even on an on-road bike.
Especially the rugged road near the exit on the Kyoto side is quite fun.
However, be aware that if you move away from the main route, you will become a turtle on an on-road bike (and it is very difficult to wake up because the side is a cliff).
By the way, I have become a turtle and have fallen firmly. (4th photo)
The entrance from the Fukui prefecture side is next to where the signboard stands. (1st photo)
The road has collapsed and it is not possible to drive by car.
