★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best blueberry scones I have ever had anywhere in the world! If you are ever in Kyoto, you have to go to this place and try the cream cheese blueberry scones. My wife and I went every day when we were in Kyoto. We even took a few for the train ride back to Tokyo :). If you are lucky - like we were, you will catch the scones as they are coming out of the oven :). Incredibly delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We come from afar all the way from Malaysia to a residential area without any bus stop within the vicinity. The owner echoes, it must be really a long walk.
Little Boy loves scone and blueberry. The shop only sells one main thing and many more pastries. This is the only place probably serving the best of such scone "Blueberry Cream Cheese Scone" on the planet. It's not uncommon for local and traveller who know the place and trade doesn't mind to come all the way and return empty-handed. We are lucky, the last 2 pieces destine to be ours.
Not been able to put in words how good it was. It doesn't even look like a regular scone for a reason that made it soooo good. After a few bites, I finally understand the art and food science behind it. We will be coming back again on next January to get more pastries from Nakamura General Store!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very good bakery and an interesting store. Their blueberry cheese scone is the best ve ever tasted though the shape of scone is somewhat different from the standard one. I've also tried their banana cake and it tasted good too. Definitely will visit it again!!
