★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 丘の上の森の中にひっそりと佇む静かな神社です。周囲の道からの下界の景色はとても良く、すぐ目の前にある小さい公園で休憩も取れます。
祭事の際はとても賑わい愛されているのだな～と思っていました

祭事の時以外は荒れ放題。ゴミや神社自体の縄も片側外れているままだったりと、とても例大祭をしている神社には思えません。
神様が祭りの時だけ利用されているかの様でかわいそうに思えました。
 It is a quiet shrine that stands quietly in the woods on the hill. The view of the lower world from the surrounding roads is very good, and you can take a break in the small park right in front of you.
At the time of the festival, I thought that it was very lively and loved.

All-you-can-eat except during festivals. Garbage and the rope of the shrine itself are still off on one side, so it doesn't look like a shrine that holds an annual festival.
I felt sorry for God as if it was used only during the festival.

旧長尾村の最高地点に立つ神社で、江戸時代に編纂された新編武蔵風土記稿や江戸名所図会にも旧名「五所権現」として登場する古社。
あじさい寺降車バス停から徒歩1分。
社殿向かって左奥には、川崎市地域文化財に指定された石祠６基がある。
境内地下は縄文遺跡（未調査）
Nagao Shrine
This shrine stands at the highest point of the former Nagao village, and is an old shrine that appears under the former name "Gosho Gongen" in the new Musashi Fudoki manuscript compiled in the Edo period and the Edo Meisho Zue.
1 minute walk from the hydrangea temple getting off bus stop.
On the far left of the shrine, there are 6 stone shrines designated as Kawasaki City regional cultural properties.
The Jomon archaeological site is underground in the precincts (not investigated)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 古くからある村社で神職さんは常駐していませんが、お正月やお祭りなどには白幡八幡宮の宮司さんが出張してきます。鎮守の森は多摩丘陵の西端の高所にあって、東は府中から秩父山地、南は池袋、新宿の高層ビル街、東京タワー、スカイツリーが見下ろせます。西は横浜のランドマークタワーや本牧のクレーンを眺めることができます。
毎年１月７日（平日の場合は次の日曜日）には射的（まとう）祭が行われます。座射で矢を射るのは珍しいと思います。

Every year on January 7th (the next Sunday if it is a weekday), a shooting festival is held. I think it's rare to shoot an arrow in a sitting position.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 地元の神社で毎年初詣に出かけてます。テレビで放映されるような派手さはありませんが、ホッとするスポットです。小高い山の頂上にあるため、徒歩ではちょっと疲れますが、初詣などはやはり徒歩で行くほうが良いとおもいます。
I go to the local shrine every year for the first visit. It's not as flashy as it's on TV, but it's a relaxing spot. Since it is located on the top of a small mountain, it is a little tiring on foot, but I think it is better to go on foot for the first visit.
