H	Hayato-no-Kaze on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 上野から特急草津なら乗り換えなしで一本、草津温泉行きのバスが出ています。かつてはこの先の万座・鹿沢口まで特急が出ていましたが、今はすべてこ長野原草津口駅止まりになっているので万座温泉に行くならここで普通列車に乗り換える必要があります。訪問時は草津温泉への乗り換え客で賑わっていました。万座温泉へは軽井沢からバスのほうが早いせいか乗り換え客は少ないようです。改札外に暖かい待合室あり、物産品店で駅弁も売っています。駅構内では売ってないので注意。改札からホームまではスロープになっておりバリアフリーです If you take the limited express Kusatsu from Ueno, there is one bus bound for Kusatsu Onsen without changing trains.
