少し歩いた岩島大橋からの吾妻川の渓谷が綺麗です。
An idyllic station. The station building is very stylish. The toilet is clean and has a washlet!
The valley of the Azuma River from the Iwashima Ohashi Bridge where I walked a little is beautiful.

次の停車駅が川原湯温泉駅、長野原草津口駅などのキーステーションのためか、かなり控えめな作りになっている。３つイスが並んだ扉のある待ち合い室や別棟のトイレがあるが無人駅。駅前には自販機を含め何もないが小高い山の上にあり改札を出てからの景色の眺めはいい。駅の建物自体は新しくきれいに清掃されていた。地元の通学、通勤客のための駅なのだろう。
Mini Rashomon. Like building station
The next stop is for key stations such as Kawaharayu Onsen Station and Naganohara Kusatsuguchi Station, so it's quite modest. There is a waiting room with a door with three chairs and a separate toilet. There is nothing in front of the station, including a vending machine, but it is on a small mountain and the view from the ticket gate is good. The station building itself was clean and new. It may be a station for local commuting and commuting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 観光案内板などを探して岩島駅に車での初訪問。ちょうど朝8時と言う事で、通学の中高生だけが乗ったような列車が一本発車する前後でした。駅や駅周りは大変綺麗にされており、思わずトイレをお借りしました。観光案内板は期待通り駅前に掲示されていました。
First visit to Iwashima station by car looking for tourist information boards. It was just 8am, so it was around the time when one train departed, as if only junior and senior high school students were on board. The station and the area around the station are very clean, so I rented a toilet. The tourist information board was posted in front of the station as expected.
