山頂の展望施設からふもとまでローラー滑り台があるが滑り台は現在使えないようだ。
桜の時期は多くの花見客が訪れるが駐車場とそこに至る道幅は狭いのが難点。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 道の駅なかせん前の交差点からまっすぐ進んだところに小高い山があり、約2000本の桜が植樹されてます。山全体が桜一色になり、手前の桜並木も桜のトンネルが長く圧巻です！地域の方々が桜を大事に手入れされてるのがすごく伝わりました?角館の桜もよいですが、こちらの公園は桜に包まれてるような、本当に心地よいゆっくりとお花見できる穴場でした?ただ、公園に登る道が超狭いので、車でのすれ違いにはご注意を⚠️
