★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「諏訪大社下社秋宮」から徒歩で15分、JR中央本線「下諏訪駅」から徒歩で約20分、中央自動車道「岡谷インター」から車で約10分の「諏訪大社下社春宮」境内「神楽殿」手前右に「結びの杉」がある。幹の末で二股に分かれているが、根元でひとつになっていることから「結びの杉」と言われ、縁結びのパワースポットだとも。
15 minutes walk from "Suwa Taisha Shimosha Akimiya", about 20 minutes walk from JR Chuo Main Line "Shimosuwa Station", about 10 minutes by car from "Okaya Inter" of Chuo Expressway. "Kugi no Cedar" is on the right before "Kaguraden". It is divided into two at the end of the trunk, but because it is united at the root, it is called a "knot cedar", and it is also a power spot for matchmaking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 諏訪大社下社春宮の境内にあるご神木です。パワースポットなんて呼ばれている場所の一つでもあります。杉の先の方が二本になっていますが、中央付近で一つとなり同じ根を張っている姿から「結びの杉」、「縁結びの杉」と呼ばれています。ご想像の通り縁結びの御利益があるご神木として信仰されています。これだけの巨木ですから何らかの神様が宿っている威厳を目の前に立つと感じます。自然信仰の神社ですから拝殿だけでなく周りの自然にも目を向けたいですね。
It is a sacred tree in the grounds of Suwa Taisha Shrine Shungu. It is one of the places called power spot. There are two cedar tips, but they are called "knotugi-no-sugi" and "enshi-knotugi-no-sugi" because of the fact that they have one root near the center and have the same root. As you can imagine, it is worshiped as a sacred tree with the benefit of marriage. With such a huge tree, I feel that the dignity of some kind of god is standing in front of me. Since it is a shrine of nature belief, I would like to pay attention not only to the hall of worship but also to the surrounding nature.
