★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This small shop specializes in traditional Japanese instruments used in Gagaku music, particularly drums, sho (笙), a variety of flutes, and biwa (琵琶). These are top quality instruments. The shop can also help you find a teacher and sells some basic instructional books for each instrument. The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful, and will even let you try some of the instruments if you're a serious buyer.
