MUJI Minami-Norikura Camping Ground

A high-standard campsite run by MUJI. The site is divided between forests and there is no feeling of openness, but you do not have to worry about neighbors. Summer is cool because of the high altitude. After the tray, it will be cold at night. It is a pity that the stalls are separate for the relatively high rates.

I had the best time. It has nothing to do with the heat of the lower world, and although the sunlight is strong during the day, you can spend it with thin long sleeves. The night got colder as the sun went down and I needed a fleece. The bonfire is very gentle and warms your body and mind. It was a B12 site, but the privacy was protected by the shade of a tree next to it, and it was good that it was close to the water area, center house and bathhouse on foot. However, depending on the site, there are sites that are not very sunny all day long, and sites that are far from going to Centerhouse without a car, and some people are traveling by mountain bike. You may not know this until you go. There was one bonfire pot at each site. I brought it with me, so I didn't use it ... Charcoal is combustible waste at this campsite. It is safer not to use charcoal on the day of withdrawal and to confirm the fire extinguishing properly. There was information on bear sightings during the stay, and one bear bell was distributed on the site, but it is a bell that is only chewy, so if you are worried, it is safer to bring a bear bell. is. There are quite a few scissors bugs. It's not a poisonous insect, and it won't get caught unless it's attacked, but it has a strong presence because it's wandering around in the tent. There is a mini desk golf near the site, and you can buy and play Frisbee at the center house for 540 yen. There was also a score form, and the kids were playing very hard. The supermarket is a one-hour drive down a mountain road. It is safer to camp in after purchasing the ingredients. If you have forgotten something, you can buy various MUJI products at a reasonable price at Center House. The staff are very kind and helpful. I had a pizza making and kayaking outdoor experience, and they were all happy and the kids had the best memories of their summer vacation. I also want to come to this campsite next year.

I used the F site. The road is quite a mountain road. The F site is close to the administration building, and there are trees between the sites, so I don't care about the distance from the neighbor, but the site has a slightly smaller impression. The toilet in the sanitary building is almost Japanese style, and it is a type that you flush yourself with something like a hose. I'm a little worried about the smell. The toilet in the administration building was washed with water. At night, it's pitch black except for the sanitary building, so if you don't remember the way during the day, you'll get lost. The administration building closes at 19:00, so considering the toilets, the site near the sanitary building seems to be good. Each site has something that looks like a bonfire, but it's quite old. (There is nothing that can't be used, but ...) There are many insects in the summer, and it seems that there are many bugs depending on the site. Insect repellent goods are essential. There were a lot of things like earwigs. Be careful as it gets caught in your luggage. I went to the end of August, but it was cool after the evening and it was just right with a bonfire. It's still hot during the day. If you separate the garbage, you can throw it away and go home. I don't use the bath, but there seems to be a bathtub. The administration building sells a wide variety of camping goods and MUJI retorts, so you can cover even a little forgetting to buy.

The location was excellent ❗ The site was also large ? I chose a shaded site because it's summer, but the condensation didn't dry easily. However, the privacy with the neighbor was perfect. The view of Mt. Ontake from the open-air bath was the best. The only unfortunate thing is that the buzz and insects are noisy.

I used it on the B site on weekdays in mid-July, but it was hot on a sunny day. I think it was 30 degrees Celsius. On the contrary, when the sun was hidden, it was about 20 ℃ and it was very easy to spend. There are many insects (abs), but there was no problem if measures were taken. The toilet and kitchen were clean. The B site had a feeling of openness and was very good.

The altitude was high and I used it in August, but it was cool and comfortable in the shade. In addition, the equipment was clean, and there were only MUJI products, so the product lineup in the administration building was good. The site also has a large area and is appropriately partitioned by trees, etc., so privacy can be ensured. (Because I use B site, I don't know anything else) The night was very beautiful with a perfect starry sky. There is no help for it on the plateau, but measures against gnats and gnats are essential. I'll never forget that welcome when I arrived (laughs) About 100 of them stuck around the car. Forest incense and insect repellent spray are essential items. I think I want to go again.

After passing through the entrance gate, climb a mountain road for a considerable distance to reach the center house. It's very exciting at a campsite in nature. The stars were beautiful at night because there were no lights around. The altitude is high, so you can stay cool even in the summer. MUJI products and various camping equipment were sold at the shop and it was fulfilling. Firewood was sold separately for softwood and hardwood, so it was very easy to understand. The staff was polite and thank you for telling me the way to Mt. Norikura. This is the campsite you want to visit every year! !!
