 A scenic spot with a panoramic view of Osaka Bay and Kobe on a clear day. It is located just after climbing Mt. Rokko from Shin-Kobe Station. You can also go by cable car.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 西暦６４６年（大化２年）山中にインドの高僧法道仙人が観音霊場を開きました。この霊場に、８０６年（大同８年）唐から帰った空海が、釈迦の母である摩耶夫人（まやぶにん）像を納め寺としました。それ以来このを山を摩耶山と呼ぶようになったそうです。旧摩耶天上寺後には石丸猿田彦磐座と天狗岩の石碑があります。山の頂上全体が磐座の上ではないかと思われます。
In 646 AD (Taika 2nd year), an Indian high priest Hodo Sennin opened a Kannon sacred place in the mountains. Kukai, who returned from Tang in 806 (Datong 8), used the statue of Mrs. Maya, the mother of Buddha, as a temple in this sacred place. Since then, this mountain has come to be called Mt. Maya. After the former Maya Tenjoji Temple, there is a stone monument of Ishimaru Sarutahiko Banza and Tenguiwa. It seems that the entire summit of the mountain is on the Banza.

ハイキングにも丁度良い休憩所に成ります。
六甲縦走の途中でもあります。
バスも出ています。
It is convenient because you can also go by ropeway.
It is a good resting place for hiking.
It is also in the middle of Rokko traverse.
There is also a bus.

I find it easy to climb from Aotani Road. There is also a tourist tea garden on the way.

We climbed vertically from Shin Kobe.
It's been a few ascents, but it's still a cool and comfortable route.
