歴史を簡単にひもとくと
大昔に摩耶山頂上に天上寺があった
のちにこの地を開墾してここに天上寺を置く
かなりの大規模な伽藍があったそう
昭和51年に焼失し大昔にあった場所
摩耶山頂上に再度天上寺を置く
ゆえに平坦な見晴らしのいい広場になっている
登山道の途中にあるので基本誰もいない
背中に南からの陽光を受け
北にある山からの吹き下ろしの風を吸いながら
スワイショウをする
これがたまらなく気持ちいい
なぜこの地に天上寺を置いたかと言えば
北側の山裾に湧水がある
今も古い石垣のそばから湧水が流れている

A brief history
A long time ago, there was Tenjoji Temple on the summit of Mt. Maya.
Later, this land was reclaimed and Tenjoji was placed here.
It seems that there was a fairly large cathedral
A place that was burnt down in 1976 and was in ancient times
Place Tenjoji Temple again on the top of Mt. Maya
Therefore, it is a flat square with a good view.
There is basically no one because it is in the middle of the mountain trail
Receive the sunlight from the south on your back
While breathing the breeze from the mountains in the north

The reason why Tenjoji was set up here is
There is a spring at the foot of the mountain on the north side
Spring water is still flowing from the side of the old stone wall

遺構には看板が設置されてます。

旧境内が史跡公園とのことだが詳しい範囲は現地を訪れた限りでは不明、本堂があった場所辺りを指すのであればお世辞にも史跡“公園”には見えない

It is said that the old precincts are historic parks, but the detailed range is unknown as long as you visit the site, and if it points to the area where the main hall was, it does not look like a historic site "park".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 阪急 王子公園駅から1時間半の登りで山頂に至ります。またロープウェイでもアクセスできる観光地です。かつては山城が築かれていたところで見晴らしは秀逸でした。六甲山方面とつなげれば本格的な登山も楽しめます。
It takes an hour and a half to reach the summit from Hankyu Ojikoen Station. It is also a tourist destination that can be accessed by ropeway. The view was excellent where the mountain castle was once built. You can enjoy full-scale mountain climbing by connecting to the direction of Mt. Rokko.
